Sri Lanka is famous for its Ceylon tea and the most distinct and subtle flavours come from the Nuwara Eliya tea plantations. One cannot therefore think of being in Nuwara Elilya and not taking a guided tour of the nearby Pedro tea factory and learn and experience how the leaf is plucked and converted into its final form.
